Software
In addition to using industry-proven software tools, our engineers have developed their own computer tools to facilitate system studies and investigations. Most of our engineers have been involved in the use of these simulation tools for power system design and analysis work for more than ten years; furthermore, they are all adept at using Micro-Station, MS-Projects, various graphics packages and the MS Office suite for general use. We are licensed users and have considerable experience in the use of the following commercial power system analysis software:

•	PSS/E & PSS/U power system simulation software developed by PTI (Power Technology Incorporated)
•	DigSilent power factory developed by Digsilent GmbH, Germany
•	PSCAD/EMTDC Power Systems Simulation software developed by the HVDC Research Centre, Winnipeg, Canada.

Instrumentation
Power System Dynamics (PSD) owns a number of industry-proven Impedo Graph power quality meters that we use to do on-site power quality and performance measurements. These results are interpreted in accordance with the client’s operations and benchmarked against standards like the NRS-048 or IEEE.

Training
Power System Dynamics (PSD) is an accredited trainer for PSCAD. Our 5 day PSCAD introductory course enables the trainees to use the PSCAD software and recap on engineering principles on applying PSCAD in the real world.
